Re: Cache Idea
This is a good idea. We do Munzees and this would be a good addition to OCUS. We like doing traditional caches but sometimes we just don't have a lot of time and these are great to fill that time. We have been to some neat little neighborhood parks that would be hard to put a physical cache in but t...

Re: Pathtags
We have been making and selling Pathtag Displays for several years and it was suggested that we offer these for sale here. The standard wall display is 5" x 7 1/4" and holds 24 tags. The tags mount in a reccess and can be positioned in the correct orientation for the design. They are easily removed a...

Re: Question about hiding caches
We also just ran into this in the Las Vegas area. A TC was about 6 feet from a GC. We knew this going in but several of the log signatures were for the wrong site(cache) and they probably never realized it and logged as found on GC. Guess that can happen.

Re: Pathtags
I make and sell oak Pathtag wall plaques that hold 24 and they can be placed in the correct orientation since lots of Pathtags have the hanging holes in an odd spot. If anyone is interested let me know.

Re: West Bend Cache Ba$h 2011 (Wisconsin)
Pathtags would be great. They are a good way to promote. Lots of people collect them seriously. We traded for quite a few at this event this year and make other trades and leave some in caches. Lots of people got started collecting after finding them in caches.

Re: Considering a NOTG Cache Series
This sounds interesting as we already use 3 of the sites. Anything to promote more geocachers joining. We have used TC for about 6 months and yes there are not many caches close to us but we try to do some when we travel. We had no problem getting sponsored so if you want to try again let us know so...

Re: What do you use?
We use Delorme PN-40 mainly and Magellan 4000XL once in awhile. Still like this old one, the accuracy is great but it has no maps.

Re: Pathtags
We have had them for about a year and trade as well as leave some to find in a special cache. We made lots of trades at West Bend Cache Ba$h and made some friends by doing this. They are trackable on Pathtag web site with a map and they have lots of other features on the site. We met some people who...

We are The Searchers and have been Geocaching since 2001. We are from Fond du Lac/Oakfield, WI area. Looking forward to the success of this site and more types of caches. We also participate in Waymarking and some Terracaching.
