Any coin and paper currency collectors out there?

Just curious if there are any other 'money geeks' out there. I think it's a great hobby. It's a way to own something with historical significance at a reasonable price. I think of them as miniature pieces of art too :) I collect mostly US coins and paper, but also own quite a few Canadian pieces. It's amazing how many of their coins end up in ours!

The 2010 cent is absolutely beautiful! So far I've only found three. I have a feeling this is going to become very collectible.

The other day I was coin shopping at a jeweler and got to hold the most expensive coin I have ever seen. It was a Draped Bust Dollar from 1796. They were selling it for $2500!

*The coin in the picture was just an example I found online, not the actual coin I held.

It's all part of 'our plan'. I especially like the line, "mysterious coins with radio frequency transmitters were found planted on U.S. contractors with classified security clearances".

Incidentally, this has since been exposed as "Operation Here's Your Change". Not really, but I hope you get a kick out of it like I did.
