It's a new form UPC and can be read by smartphones with the right apps. Actually, I'd like to know what app I can download for that, if you can help, Frank.

It's the website for his blog...though he has a comma instead of a dot after the www :p
And if you are wondering, it's called a QR Code. On the computer, I like to use http://zxing.org/w/decode.jspx to decode them.
