Guess I need to start looking at a venue for NC, if I'm going to make it down there the following weekend.

I got 2 pesterees committed in the first hour. Up to 6, including yourself. We'll do just fine. You're really hosting on the day before in Maryland??

Yeah. Original plan was to leave around 3-4 pm - after Denise returned to the church, spend the night and start caching early. My decide to save on hotel and leave EARLY Thursday to be up late morning.

Had a REALLY good time up there. Glad I could meet up with so many locals at my event on Thursday night, including...

Barbershopdru
Havocgeo
MickEMT
Mr.Yuck
Rayman
Sabrefan7
Tag9147

and others (?), but my log book is in my car in Laurel and my memory isn't what it could be.

I've already spoken to fellow Marylander, sfcchaz, about coming up together, sometime. Maybe next time, I'll / we'll even have the opportunity to cache with some of the locals.

Some numbers from my visit.

Approx. 1000 miles driven.

Overall...
50 caches found (6 GC.com / 44 OCNA).
DNF'd / couldn't get to 2 TC that I tried.
Had wanted to get to a few NC/GPSgames caches, but didn't have time.

OCNA finds...
33 BITcaches
1 Guestbook
1 Moving Cache (not counting Mr.Yuck's vehicle BIT)
1 Multi-Cache
1 Quiz
5 Traditional
1 Virtual
1 Webcam

...plus 1 Event attended (mine, but still...)

After the event, GOF, MickEMT and I hung out in the parking lot until about 11:00 talking about caching (naturally).

From my event log...
Best line of the night was from GOF, "...when I first saw skirts, I didn't even know you could lift them up." This, just as a group (family?), including one young woman, had come out of BBP and was passing us by. All, we (MickEMT?) could say, was "It's not what you think." One of the guys said, "We don't think anything."
