Looks like they just posted the event page for next year over on GC.com. It would be interesting to see if OCUS becomes big enough in the area to make it's presence known at the event. Obviously with only 15 opencaching caches in the state, we'll have to hide a lot more for them to even blink an eye. Too bad I don't live closer, I'd be scoping out spots every day :D

Just thinking a little more...maybe we could get some OCUS pathtags made for the event?

Pathtags would be great. They are a good way to promote. Lots of people collect them seriously. We traded for quite a few at this event this year and make other trades and leave some in caches. Lots of people got started collecting after finding them in caches.

I don't know what the advertising budget is but pathtags are only getting more popular. If you gave them away within their registration packet you would need a good number of them, in the hundreds. Pathtags.com has in the past discounted the price but I believe they can't be sold, just given away.

A booth could be setup to promote OCUS. They, as well as other MEGA events rent out space for booths.
