When I first got into geocaching around ten years ago I looked at their site and saw listings on bridges that had been demolished and rebuilt, caches in a flood zone that had been underwater several times, and one where a shopping complex was built. :D

Yeah, they didn't do a good job of cleansing their listings, and the admin, great of a guy that he was (he sold it in 2014 to the current do-nothings), always had a "if it's still listed here, they want it to be listed here" attitude. Which is nonsense, in general they visited Navicache once to list the caches, and forgot about it, and never came back again.
