My 2013 Caching Totals

Finally finalized my 2013 caching totals. I found 711 on six caching sites....

Geocaching.com = 511
TerraCaching.com = 177 - by far my best TC year
OpenCaching.US = 20
Navicache.com = 1
GPSgames.com = 1
Garmin OC = 1

I definitely hope to have a better OCNA year in 2014.

I will soon be posting info on how to download a "My Finds" query for OCNA. I had a little trouble, but it was mostly because I was doing something wrong.

Mine are much lamer.

Geocaching.com = 149 (my worst full year of Geocaching, and I started in August, 2003)
Opencaching.us = 15 (3 were events. I had grandiose plans of finding up to 15 in Ohio for Midwest Geobash, but got a whopping 6)
Terracaching.com = 3 (2 of them were DG's Truly well-rounded cacher locationless caches. I actually did the third one in 2012)

Nothing on Navicache or GPSgames.org. I did list an event on GPSgames.org, but you cannot log your own events as attended. I remain the No. 1 Cache finder in the world on GPSgames.org, despite having zero 2013 finds.

That's 53 finds, BTW. Impressive.

In addition to having a better OCNA year, i would love to get to 50 Navicaches (now 38) and at least double my GPSgames finds from 6 to 12.

We had a bunch of people cross-list their caches on gpsgames.org back when he first started listing Geocaches, and he didn't list Geocaches until 2005 or 2006. One guy still cross-posts them there, but he's slowed down placing caches the last couple of years. MickEMT, I'm pretty sure he came to your "Dudley comes to WNY" event.

Now if I could only convince these same people to start using this freaking website some more.

Oh, and I fixed my original post to say No. 1.

WOW I had my worst year ever I didnt even know till I just looked now

Busy with my "other" hobby,, Deputy Fire Chief. 270 training hours working on certifications. There are only 2 classes I have to get now so will have more time to get into the woods

I didn't do much better in 2013 ( my worst year too) but it did have an interesting set of numbers
