Semi-Anniversary Event(s) for OpenCaching US - 18 Feb 2011

I'm just waiting to confirm the reservation, but I'll be listing an event in Laurel, MD for Friday evening, 18 February to celebrate the six month mark of OpenCaching US and our recently passing 500 hides and finds.

I'd like to suggest others host one in your area. If Friday evening doesn't work for you, I'm sure a Saturday event would serve the purpose well.

We're a little over 2 weeks out, though, so to give folks time to respond, it would probably be good to get any events listed soon and promote them on your local forums.

I hope the event is well attended. Really wish I could be there but I'll be on several flights that day headed out west. I'll celebrate by trying to find an opencache in Phoenix.

Thanks for the email, but no, I pestered too many people to attend my OCUS holiday event in Decemember, I think it's too soon to pester them again. A one year anniversary event sounds good, although it looks like August 18th is a Thursday. Oh well, I'm sure the 20th is good.

Yeah, I think events on 8.20.11, would suffice, well enough. We may even have some on the 18th and some on the weekend.
