A Spin on Dead Drop Caches

Post by DJCreekCachers » Tue Feb 01, 2011 7:11 pm

Must dead drops be cemented into a permanent structure? I was thinking of creating one and placing the flash drive in a typical cache container just large enough to accommodate the drive and using it as the logbook rather than a typical paper log sheet.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this idea?

One that is not permanently attached will likely be stolen. So use a cheap jump drive if you want to place it in a waterproof container.
