Rollcall for the Mountain Division!

Post by Altered7151 » Mon Oct 11, 2010 11:49 am

Thought I'd create a post and see who all is out there from our division. So if you're browsing the forums post up who you are and where you're from, maybe a little about yourself. I'll start:

I'm Altered7151 from Reno,Nv, real world name is Tyler. I've been caching for just over 4 years now and just hit my 1000 mark on gc, and hope to expand that here on OCUS. I work as a mechanical engineer for the University of Nevada, Reno, and my biggest accomplishment is I just had a son 3 weeks ago, Evan Tyler. :D

I'm Conrad Vogel from Clark Fork Idaho. Work as a land surveyor and have been caching for 5 years or so. Became interested in this site through Dudleygrunt and look forward to expanding into Idaho.

My nick is IDLookout on the frog and conradv on TC.com.

I'd find them before I knew that there was such a thing as benchmarking... lol. I'm pretty much office trash now, but I still like to search on the mountain tops.

I'm Terry from Grand Junction, CO. I have been caching for 5 years and have found just over 600 caches. I love to cache in places other than urban locations and I love caching with the kids!

Tony of team_goobie, Reno NV. Currently owner of 75% of nevada caches...

Hope to see more and more OCUS caches soon. I'm planning a dead-drop. Maybe soon I'll be able to log a find on the site! Maybe even as soon as thins weekend (if I can get to California through this weather, that is).

We have 78 hides (including the OCUS caches, which are cross listed). As of today 1126 finds. We've been caching about 2 1/2 years. My favorites cache to place are puzzles, but I'd like to start doing more multis. Nice to meet you all!

Tony

My name is Jeff.
I'm from Rupert, ID (South Central).
I've been geocaching since March 2003.
I enjoy caching and all the new places that it takes me.
I don't have a ton of finds per say but a TON of memories for sure!!!!
Come see me on our forum http://www.Idahogeocachers.net I'm getting Jake ,the Admin, to create a topic specifically for Opencaching.
This site is going to take off and RUN!!!! I'm happy to be a part of it already.
I learned about this site through Twitter and Dudley Grant. Like him, I continue to spread the word.
Word of mouth goes a long ways!!!!
Maybe someday we'll all bump into each other at an Opencaching Mega Event :-)
