Previously, after a user submitted 3 caches subsequent submissions would not be reviewed before being published. This has been changed so that all new submissions will be reviewed before being published.

Re: Slight Change in Submission Procedure
On the submission form there is the option for setting a publish date and time. Will the review impact this scheduled release? Will they be queued for review at the scheduled publish time or prior so that the schedule is maintained?
I only ask as I have one currently scheduled for a particular date and time. Actually in this case it is 3 days away allowing plenty of time for review but the timing is of some importance.

If the cache has already been submitted and approved, it is not affected.TermiteHunter wrote:On the submission form there is the option for setting a publish date and time. How do I know if it was approved? is there a way to check? It was submitted about the same time as the posted change.

You would have gotten an email nonetheless. You can also go to the cache page and check the status.TermiteHunter wrote:How do I know if it was approved? is there a way to check? It was submitted about the same time as the posted change.
This link shows a list of your caches: http://www.opencaching.us/search.php?sh ... serowner=0
That list is for active caches by you. If you know the cache ID, simply view at http://www.opencaching.us/viewcache.php?cacheid=207 (change the 207 to the correct ID). The status doesn't matter when going directly to the cache listing this way.

Re: Slight Change in Submission Procedure
Sorry, Found that later after the posting.
Hope this is the last question since the scheduled posting is new to me.
Will the cache that has a scheduled date and time for publishing auto publish at that time once it has been approved?
The cache in question is approved, is scheduled but the status remains as Not Ready. I am not able to change that status with the scheduled release being in conflict.
Or will I need to change the status after the publish date and time have elapsed?

The cache will go live at the time and date specified automatically. No further action is required by you.TermiteHunter wrote:Sorry, Found that later after the posting.

Keep in mind the server operates on GMT so adjust your time accordingly so the cache goes live at the time zone you want.

Are you the one doing all of the cache reviews? If so, at what point will you be looking for help?

Re: Slight Change in Submission Procedure
When it becomes too much for me to do alone. Rest assured, I will post a big, bold stickied message in the forums pleading for assistance when the time comes. The good thing is that I can approve/reject caches, read and post to the forums, add news, etc... all from my Droid X phone. So even when I am relaxing under the awning, enjoying a nice evening sunset with the wife in a remote campground... I can still get the job done.jeffbouldin wrote:Are you the one doing all of the cache reviews? If so, at what point will you be looking for help?
