Letterbox Hybrids

Are there any plans to add the Letterbox type of cache as a separate type?

No plans to list it as a separate type, but it is an attribute you can assign to a cache.

Just curious, since I'm thinking about doing one, should the letterbox be listed as "unknown" type?

If you're going to do it as a traditional letterbox (where you don't give the coordinates), I think that would be the right choice.
(Oh, cool! A new local cache for me to go do!)
