I'm not sure how it works, but if you post a link to the cache page on Facebook, you have a choice of a couple of thumbnail pictures to show along with it. When I post a link to one of my caches, normally, there's a map, the OpenCaching.us logo and/or a picture if one is posted to the cache page. Is there a way to make the cache Type icon appear in the choices (Traditional, Event, Moving, etc)?
See http://facebook.com/bvgeocachers for examples of OC caches and GC caches and how they show up on the Facebook page.

Re: Posting Links to Caches on Facebook
When you paste any link to Facebook, it generally gives you options of various images that are on the page. I'm not sure why it makes some available, but other images aren't available. However, it may only allow you to select .jpg images. The cache type icon is a .png. If you can save a copy of it as a .jpg and then include it as an image in your cache description, that should work.
