The map of caches looks excellent! Who did that?

I'll bet I hadn't looked at the "map of caches", as you can navigate to on the left hand menu of the main page in at least a month. What a surprise! The icons are all different, and it's very easy to distinguish your own hides, and your found caches. If a cache is sufficiently isolated, it's name will be displayed as well. But you have to have a good 5 mile radius from another listing for the name to be displayed. Most listings in OCUS hotbed Western New York are not displayed, but panning around the U.S. and Canada, I'd say most caches have the name displayed, save for our little hotbeds of activity.

So who did this and when? Has DG been dabbing in the technical stuff?

EDIT: By the way, never mind. If you zoom in sufficiently, every cache name will be displayed. Even my 7 BIT "power trail" along the Buffalo waterfront, which are approximately the bare minimum of 300 feet apart.

Hey, that does look nice! Not me. Could've been Coffee Peddlers, but I'm thinking the EU devopers pushed us and update. I'm thinking it was just this past weekend, because I hadn't noticed it, either.

Does look nice but somehow it looks like there are fewer caches in those "hotbeds"
Could use a new key for all the new icon types.
Noticed too that there is no "found it" check on BITs

I'll check that out.

I'm seeing checks on BITs that I've found.

I too am definitely seeing checkmarks on every BIT I've found. And, thanks to one person, about 60% of those checkmarks are BITS on my map.

Maybe I was looking at my own bits.

Any strange spellings or choices of words are the fault of autocorrect

Oddly, the map doesn't show me OU0370 -- Boonville BIT -- despite my fiddling around with the checkboxes.
