I'd like to recommend that the subject line be amended to include include [OC US]
Currently, the messages come from "sonicsix <at> yahoo.com" with a generic subject line of "New private message has arrived". So, there is no indication where the message is from - until you open it.

Also, other notifications come from a "___@opencaching.us" address. Wonder if this could be changed, too.

Re: Private Message Notifications
Can you be more specific? Notifications from the site are from things like "noreply@", "octeam@", etc.DudleyGrunt wrote:Also, other notifications come from a "___@opencaching.us" address. Wonder if this could be changed, too.

Re: Private Message Notifications
Mostly, but when I get Private Message Notifications, they are from "sonicsix <at> yahoo.com". I'm thinking that if they can show as being from something like the "notify <at> opencaching.us" address, it would be better.

Re: Private Message Notifications
That's my email personal address for the RVRoadTrip account so that's why it shows up as such. If I logged in as "admin" it would be octeam <at> opencaching.us, but I never log in as admin. I changed the email on my RVRoadTrip account to opencaching.us <at> gmail.com so maybe that will help. The "octeam" isn't really a mailbox, it's an alias that forwards to whoever is in the alias list (which at this point is only me).DudleyGrunt wrote:Mostly, but when I get Private Message Notifications, they are from "sonicsix <at> yahoo.com". Re: Private Message Notifications
As long at the subject includes [OC US], the address isn't really that big a deal. As long as something identifies it as from OpenCaching US.
