What would you like the next generation of GPS units to be able to do that they currently don't?

That is a nice feature with c:geo for Android. Would be nice if the handhelds had that. I thought some models did, though.

I've thought I'd like a camera in mine, but it would make it hard for those virts, etc. that require a picture of your with your GPS.

Don't the newer Garmins have cameras? Like the Oregon or something?

I think so. I'm trying to think of something truly new.

Oooo, ooooo, I've got it. A laser pointer/range finder sort of thing. It projects the distance to ground zero and as you get closer, the beam gets shorter. It would be great for night caching :)

How about a pen? You could easily have a little slot for a small pen to fit in. Then, you'd always have one.

But then people would try to write on the touch screen with it....
