Just heard that Tapatalk is celebrating 4 years and giving away the app for all platforms.

Get it now in case this is temporary

It was temporary allright. You know how I know. About a week ago, they finally came out with a WindowsPhone app!! I haven't gotten it yet though, because the credit card Microsoft has is expired, and I need to give them a new one. It's $2.99 for Windows Phone. How about the other platforms?

Wouldn't you know, I updated the credit card and bought tapatalk for Windowsphone, and there's a bug logging into phpBB powered forums (that would be us). The app is only a couple weeks old, and the bug was just reported 5 days ago, so I added my voice to the thread on their forums.

I can see these forums, I just can't log in and post to them. I also note we have the old logo, and we do not show up at all in a search of "Geocaching" (at least for me). They never did give me a satisfactory answer of getting in and changing that.

I also note, in general, almost everyone on the internets names their fourms http://forums.domain.com where as we are http://forum.opencaching.us with the "s" missing in forums. Too late to change that one now.

P.S. obviously the example link for domaindotcom isn't going to work.

Yep, that's the old logo. The last time I installed tapatalk I had a little difficulty finding this forum but I thought that was just me

I get us on a search of opencaching, but we do not show up at all in a search of Geocaching. As I said though, that's just me, and my app on my phone. And of course I'll keep working with the tapatalk people to let them let me edit RvRoadTrip's original stuff.

Well, it's still buggy as hell when you get in, but Windowsphone users can log into phpBB forums now. And it wasn't just me no one could do it on any phpBB powered forum.

Eh, traditional forums like this are dying all over the internet, so I imagine I support Tapatalk, which makes participating forums smartphone friendly, so to speak.
