Re: NOVAGO Sweltering Summer Soiree event and new caches Aug
I love that the owner gets to pick the go-live time. It takes the load off the reviewer and I don't have to feel like i'm inconveniencing someone to get caches for an event published at the proper time. It also ensures that new caches in a dawn to dusk don't go live late at night tempting people. I ...

Re: NEW to OC.US...Where's the caches?
Also one thing to be aware of is both of your OC.us caches are cross listed. I personally log those caches on gc.com because that is my primary site. So at the moment the only unique cache is the BIT cache. More oc.us only caches that are awesome might help to draw people over to hunt for these real...

Re: NEW to OC.US...Where's the caches?
Hey wd1j, I would say that you should see who else in your local caching community is not happy with the restrictions or environment on other listing services. Print out some opencaching.us business cards maybe with a list of your local caches on the back with the waypoint code, name and type (assum...

Re: Question on Moving Caches
So having had my first and second moving caches moved for the first time I had some thoughts and figured it might be a good idea to hash them out and see what other people's opinions are. So first thing that I found was that a the owner you can't "find" a moving cache just log it. Not sure if that i...

Re: Hear that?
After making 3 FTFs on my November road trip from the DC metro to Seattle I just haven't been able to get out to find the "local" cache. While there are 81 within 100 miles of my home zip the closest are 30+ miles of Northern Virginia traffic away and none of them are anywhere close to my commute so...
