Re: What do you use?
PN-30 is a newer (although it was recently discontinued), it is the PN-40 without the electronic compass. They have a dual processor where the PN-20 has a single. The PN-20 suffered from a slow refresh rate. The PN-30 has also been recently updated to make it easier to use paperlessly. The PN-20 wil...

Re: Garmin bought Opencaching.com
Currently there is a topic on GC.com's Geocaching Topics forum about opencaching.com. The moderator mentioned he would not close the thread if it stayed on topic and did not move it to promotion of another site. TheAlabamaRambler posted that many might get opencaching.us mixed up with opencaching.co...

Finally!
I finally got to log my 1st 2 Opencaches! Traveling through Birmingham I stopped at Tannehill State Park and got RVRoadTrip's two virtuals. Very neat spot. If you are traveling through there you must stop.

Re: Garmin chirp
It excludes too many people. How would 60xxx/Etrex/Magellan/Delorme/BB/iPhone/Android/etc owners participate in your cache if it was based on one of those?

Re: Conspiracy Theory of the Cell Phone Variety
In my experience all of the brick and mortar stores have to charge more than the online stores. Your benefits are picking it up immediately, help setting it up, and a place to return for help. Online you get a better deal but are on your own and if you have problems it takes longer to get it taken c...

Re: Find members
Biggest problem is only a very few people will visit the forums. The members list on these forums list 763 people and about 20-30 have posted. How about making it an optional field in the profile, something you check when setting up your account. If I want people to see that I'm on here I allow it, ...

Find members
Besides the members link on the forums is there a way to see the members of the main site? It would be neat to be able to see who is in a certain radius from your home coords.
