Re: Idea for a BIT
As I am nearing 1000 cache finds...I am finally about to release my first few travel bugs. I love this idea and will incorporate it into my releases.

BIT Cache/ Unknown Cache Combo
If I scan a BIT cache...does it take me to the cache listing where I can read the actual cache description or does just ask me for the password and then logs the cache as found? Here is why I am asking... I want to increase awareness of OCUS in my area but I really am trying not to cross-list my cac...

Thoughts on Our Recent Cacher Diversity Training
Now that we completed our month-long Cacher Diversity training...I am interested in hearing what everyone's thoughts are. :ugeek: First, I want to thank the admins on designing and running a great contest with a lot of great prizes. It was really a lot of fun. :P :P :P Before I share my thoughts...h...

Re: August 2014 OpenCachingNA Diversified Cacher Contest
I could be wrong...but I think near the bottom of your list the OCNA pathtags are intended to be 2 prize packs (not 5). One prize set containing 3 tags...the other containing 2 tags. That gives 32 not 35 prizes. But I don't think that affected your original calculation...I think you may have forgot ...

Re: August 2014 OpenCachingNA Diversified Cacher Contest
OK, my entry is in. Looks like 480 pts. If I was paying close attention, I would have pushed for that last 20 points for one more entry, lol. Thanks for running this guys!!!

Re: August 2014 OpenCachingNA Diversified Cacher Contest
What is the deal with unlimited nets? I've been considering Munzees. Has anyone done the cost comparison between buying premade Munzees and printing your own on appropriate waterproof stickers? I have not done a cost comparison but my son and I print and laminate or own Munzees that we can hang wit...

Re: August 2014 OpenCachingNA Diversified Cacher Contest
After catching a few monsters when I first started last month, I went ahead and purchased the lifetime nets and whatever number of coins that came with it. Bought binoculars...so have nothing else to buy with my coins, lol. Grabbed some coords for a virt and a guest book cache while on vacation, so ...

Re: August 2014 OpenCachingNA Diversified Cacher Contest
I am in! Was going to make a big push this month to level up in Ingress (looks like the one game that doesn't help me here, lol)...but will tackle this challenge instead. Already bagged 2 monsters this morning. Are the "Beat the Admin Challenges" based on the admins' August numbers...or do we need t...
