Re: login

I'm still unable to sign in to the main site using chrome, no issues signing in to the forums. All seems to work using Firefox. :|

Re: No more opencaching.com

Let's not forget Keystone's response, "Manville Possum Hunters, you've already been slapped in another thread about the silly speculation regarding Garmin." Sounds like he is still upset about me suggesting that they outsource his position to a Mud Weasel and move the HQ to Elbonia. Really, the idea...

Re: The OpenCaching NA 5th Anniversary Contest

I read about the contest on the home page a few days ago and have been waiting until today to list a few new caches in my area. I already have a few in place, and work in progress.

Re: Site suggestion - Who visited?

One of the ways around the visit log is by using a smart phone app to view the cache. All of my listings on GS are PMO. 8-)
I seldom ever view the visit log, but I do like the feature here that shows how many visits the cache page has had. It kinda gives me insight as to how active this site is. :D

Re: Lets not turn opencaching into waymarking

I have never submitted a virtual or a waymark that I have not visited and taken the photo myself. That is a hot topic in the waymarking forums now, seems they have been publishing listings where the photos were taken from google street view. Talk about drive-by waymarking. Some of my first vir...

Re: Lets not turn opencaching into waymarking

Oh, yeah. I remember you from Garmin's awful site. I still take part in peer review there, why I don't really know. I think the last virtual I reviewed there physical geocaches could not be placed because there was still live ordinace in the area. BOOM! Virtuals are not really a popular choi...

Re: Lets not turn opencaching into waymarking

As a Waymarker and virtual geocacher I try to make sure my virtuals can not be googled, or that the logging code can not be found on the Waymarking site. Most of the virtuals listed on geocaching.com are ownerless, but just clicking on the nearest waymarks feature usually have the answers there requ...
