Create new caches broken again.

Re: Opie is now out of the picture

Just wait until the Waymarking site is officially killed off, which will be very soon I think. ;) You know OCNA will get flooded with virtuals. :P

Virtuals are really the only cache type that works for me, hoprefully someday OCNA will have more players in my area. :)

Re: Geocaching survey

P.S. Manny, your comment "Glad to see your survey posted here on the official geocaching site." on the big Green forums did not go unnoticed. Why can't you just spread our love, man? Dude, I already have been warned about saying nice things about OCNA in Groundspeak's forums. :D You know ...

Re: New Benchmark cache type

All seems well now, I guess we can delete that broken draft from the 27th now? I was just checking BM's there in the area while drafting up this new listing and noticed that I had failed to log one, and posted the wrong photos to another. :o Yes, I was there on vacation. ;) So no danger of drafts br...

Re: New Benchmark cache type

Here is that discussion. It's all there, the thread sort of went cold before the site troubles started. But it is in a odd spot (although it does make sense to in some way) http://forum.opencaching.us/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1812 And here is the original discussion started in 2010 which I restarted ove...

Re: Geocaching survey

fesphd17 it's great to know that you are an active geocacher too. I think as a cache owner we get to see what cache impact is and how careful other geocachers are. Because of Scorched Earth cachers tearing GZ apart I have made most of my hides PMO only except for a few in one State Park that request...

Re: Geocaching survey

Thank you for posting that feedback. It's not meant to be geocaching.com-centric so much as I wanted to use the "incentives" that I hear people talking about and the nomenclature that is used in the media. You are right. I absolutely cannot tell who answered the survey and there is no identifying i...

Exactly. I have seen Litterboxes placed in State Parks were permits are required but slip under the radar of land managers.

Re: Geocaching survey

I started this project because of misconceptions that I have heard with land management agencies who think that geocaching should be banned and that geocaches are buried. There is a lot of misunderstanding out there. This impacts all who geocache - not just those who use geocaching.com. Thank you s...
