Re: Who ye be? And where ya from?

Hello, I am Mother Wolf & although I spend most of my time on the Isle of Kent , which is in the Chesapeake Bay, I call home south of Chicago. I commute between there & Md. so I am around the Chicago area regularly. I'm good friends with the site admin, DudleyGrunt, & haunt the NoVago area as well. ...

Re: Rollcall for the Mountain Division!

Hi, I'm Mother Wolf & visit out in the Az & southern Nevada area often. Only problem is that although I registered with Nevada so I could go on the forums when Im going to be in the area the site doesnt seem to want to let me on. I log on but it will only list me as a guest. I will be out that way a...

Re: Why Opencaching?

WHY? Many reasons. My good friend DudleyGrunt is always looking for new places as options for caching & perhaps improvement in the over all aspect & introduced me to OCUS so I wanted to check it out. I have the majority of my caches currently listed on GC.com but have also listed caches on NC & WM. ...

Re: Lesson Learned on Crosslisting

Dont beat yourself up over it. I have a couple of caches that havent been found, or at least nothing has been logged either way for many many months but they are both still there (I checked them just a few weeks ago.

Re: How many people do you cache with?

It's about 50-50 if i go alone or with my caching partner. If I go alone it is usually just locally for a couple of hours or to just grab a couple caches while Im out doing my weekly shopping. If its with my partner it is usually a full planned day & route. :)

Re: Spirit Quest prefix

Actually when I started caching I didnt know that other places did the SQ prefix. I listed the cache as SPIRIT QUEST mainly for the intention that people would take a moment to reflect. Some of them are at a cemetery & others are at Memorials for our Fallen Soldiers, Police, Fire Fighters & EMS folk...

Re: Cross listed caches

Being new here & still feeling my way through I havent yet placed a cache for OC. I think though when I do it will be exclusive for here. I have in the past Xlisted caches on WM & NC but it just became to time consuming to keep track of everything. I have since quit Xlisting caches. As you point out...
