OpenCaching Cumulative Cache Count

Has anyone looked at the other sites in the OC family lately and added up all the caches that are worldwide? If all of these sites were connected into one, it'd be a nice count.

Re: GSAK

I am somewhat new to GSAK. I have managed to create a query using the very bottom option of "Found by" and "NativTxn" to find my own finds (all 10 of them). I have imported it into my GSAK database, but the "Found by me" field is blank. When I look at the cache info, it shows the logs as "Notes". An...

Re: C:GEO

GeoHunter is a good alternative. It's not a live search, but you can download queries/searches from gc.com AND opencaching.US and have them all in one place. You can take short notes and save them to a file so you can add more to your logs online later. I love c:geo's live map search and the ability...

Re: Extended Batteries for Droids

This is one that I was looking at. http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-Innocell-Extended-Battery-Motorola/dp/B00337KT1W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1294851134&sr=8-1 A friend of mine just got one for his Samsung Android phone. He turned it on, turned on wi-fi, gps and bluetooth and it was over 2 days and still ...

CITO Type Event this Saturday

Our local geocaching group has Adopted-a-Highway and we will have our first cleanup event this Saturday. Check out http://www.opencaching.us/viewcache.php?cacheid=548 for more info. Anyone is welcome, even non-cachers.

Extended Batteries for Droids

Has anyone tried these? How well and how long do they last with GPS turned on?

Re: Quiz or Unknown Types

Could we maybe make a TYPE for Challenge caches and have them be able to have No Container? It sure would make it easier to look these types up. I have a couple more in mind that I'd like to submit. If someone up in the Northeast completes a challenge, then I wouldn't expect them to make it all the ...

Re: Idea for a little Fundraiser

My math was wrong. DUH! If we committed to 200 tags, that's only TEN sets. If we need more after that, you can always do reorders as needed.

Idea for a little Fundraiser

 How about creating an OCUS Pathtag and set it up as a fundraiser? Tags are usually sold in lots of 20 for $20 on the Geocoin Store website and does not cost the organization anything (you don't have to buy them up front). $5 from each sale goes to the organization designated. We did tags for ...
