Re: Cache Sizes - Feedback Sought
OMG, like this thread is so old! :D I'm pondering BIT caches and nanos. I never liked Munzee crap because it's pasted to public property and not hidden. I guess almost all geocachers have or use smartphones, and QR codes are common now, so would BIT caches be a good idea? Can you just stuff one in a...

Re: User name change.
I think the "Urban Legend of Opie" is a sad story about a southerner named Manny who knows how to hide caches in great locations. But his evil twin Opie comes along about once each year and archives them all. Leaving poor Manny to start all over again, slowly creating new and interesting listings. ...

Re: User name change.
Oh, yes. Reminds me of The Urban Legend of Opie http://www.opencaching.us/viewcache.php?cacheid=2135 TrailTech? Pretty sure that was one of the two ladies representing Garmin at the Hatfield McCoy 2 Mega event that I met. :D I autographed a OpenCaching hat for one of them. I don't think OpenCaching ...

Re: User name change.
Oh yes, I remember that guy. He was our community leader just before they killed off the forums to silence all of the negativity about the site.
I hear he is big into Munzee now?

Re: User name change.
I tried contacting MR.Yuck in regards to changing my user name here on OCNA and have not gotten a response , so maybe posting here in the forums will help. 8-) I was able to change my user name on my listings here, and I would like my user name changed across the whole platform as well. Any help ou...

Re: User name change.
:?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: Why would you do that? That squirrel is dead, it died from neglect and starvation. Opie, Garmin's mascot was NOT a squirrel. He was a Beaver-Skunk hybird. I knew Opie. How to you think I got all of those PathTags? Opie is not dead either. Garmin pulled out and Opie retired t...

Re: New Benchmark cache type
I think most of us that have submitted a cache recently have encountered problems creating new listings here on BrokenCaching, is this going to hamper the new BM listings? Are we still looking at a new cache type by first of the year or what should we expect. This break is taking longer than I would...

Re: Create new caches broken again.
Not a problem, I'm used to the Waymarking site that breaks often. At least you are on the job with a quick fix.Mr.Yuck wrote:Very possible, MPH. We had a little "relapse" a couple days after the first big break. Sorry about that.
I can't see the review queue anymore, but I bet it's piling up?
