Re: Did I set the OCNA Lonely cache record?
Sorry, looks like I got you beat on that one.....just barely though Babes' On The Bruce http://opencaching.us/viewcache.php?cacheid=749 6 years, 8 months and 16 days since it was hidden; 5 years, 5 months and 4 days since it was listed. Sadly I was FTF. Wasn't listed until 2011 (although it was hid...

Re: Did I set the OCNA Lonely cache record?
Just surfing the forum, I actually beat this record with a virtual in Toronto Ontario, almost 5 years and 2 months after the last find in 2011. http://www.opencaching.us/viewcache.php?cacheid=114

Re: New York Admin spammer?
This resulted in the Reagan Airport cache owner in thinking it was real, and archiving their cache (I have unarchived). Now there's bannation.

Re: New York Admin spammer?
Cute. Troll? Email address suggests a guy with a pretty unique first and last name from the UK, with a few hits on Google. I didn't waste time looking for an ip address on the logs, which is rather time consuming. Logs removed, we'll hold off on bannation.

Re: New Benchmark cache type
Okay I thought you were kidding about painted rocks except now it's coming up in some facebook groups I'm a member of - camping related groups. And now there are FB groups dedicated to this: "Here's two Facebook groups, RVing Rocks, and Rock the Parks. For the painting rocks. Paint then, hide them,...

Re: unable to use the site
Please be patient with us. The site ran into significant issues recently. We were able to restore most functionality but we are finding individual cases of continued difficulty beyound what most are experiencing. We are currently in the process of updating the entire site with the most recent OC co...

Re: unable to use the site
Aside from being able to log on and view the forum, I am unable to 1, contact anyone (attempts lead to login loop) 2, log a cache (attempts lead to log in loop) I can now see many caches on c:geo but log nothing. Very frustrating. Have reported issue previous but.. dexter If I remember correctly, y...

Re: Opie is now out of the picture
Funny, I googled Opie geocaching and my old listing came up. http://www.opencaching.us/viewcache.php?cacheid=2135 We still have a few caches there, but the area is under construction, and really messed up the D/T rating on my 5/5. It's still quite difficult, but not as much of a bramble there anymo...

Re: New Benchmark cache type
In the last 30 days, 75 different people from 20 States and 2 Provinces have visited this forum 400 times. Gotta love Google Analytics. As lame as those statistics are. The website itself? Generally around 90 different people a day, which is pretty average for winter months.

Re: New Benchmark cache type
I was waiting to find out before I bought it for my Kindal. :D Darn good price there for a good read. ;) Yep, TheMulcher from Charlotte, although he didn't enter as that. But TH knew who he was. The Author put in that "comment on the post to win" thing in, we don't normally do that. Plus it made ou...
