Re: Promoting OpenCaching US
That is one aspect that may slow interest in the site. Perhaps a combined total of finds would be appreciated by some. I have asked on my local forum, the reason for reluctance to use the site. The most common answer has been " There are more caches listed on GC than I will ever be able to find" and...

Re: Garbled Emails
Since we only have this problem with mail sent from OCTeam could you send out another message so that we can verify that the possible fix did indeed work? The Bulletin sent was also recieved garbled but this may be a good candidate to re-send. I recieved 2 messages today, both garbled and both befor...
Re: GSAK
Every search performed on the site IS a Query.
Simply perform the search with the options selected and then download the resulting GPX file.
The only option not available that is available on GC is the Create a Route function

Re: Cross listed caches
I did a search of "OCUS only" attribute caches within 3000 miles of Charlotte NC and got 96
That's less than 1 in 4. I assume there are actually more that just don't have the attribute assigned.
Still, the more OCUS only there are the better the ability to draw more to the site.

Re: Cross-Posted Items
Rather than cross posting, I created a series of 4 GC caches with clues to a final that was listed on OCUS. It created a good number of registered users on OC. I also quickly placed several OCUS only caches in the area so that when they looked at the map there were a few caches available to find. I ...

Re: Garbled Emails
You have that backwards The AVG scanned email was correctly recieved The unscanned one was the Garbled version I checked the garbled mail by right clicking on it and it WILL allow me to "view source" bringing up the html code which it should not. The older correctly displayed mail would NOT display ...

Re: Garbled Emails
It affects other clients and systems.
Logs have always been fine and one recieved after a garbled notification was fine.

Re: Garbled Emails
As stated previously: Outlook 2007 /Win xp sp3 I have tried no other as that would involve submitting another cache or asking someone else to after setting up another client as all messages are removed from my server when downloaded. I know another individual here that has the same problem since he ...
