Ipod Touch

Post by kitkatt1960 » Mon Feb 14, 2011 4:43 pm

This is just an FYI note.

The Ipod Touch does not have a gps built in. HOWEVER there is a company that makes a great set of add-ons for your Ipod Touch.

Check out the "Dual Electronics" Cradle. There are two models available as well as a new Blue tooth "puck" that will give you even more versatility.

My Wife and I have been using our Cradles for over a year now, and simply put, we are extremely impressed with the accuracy of these units. PLUS it supplies you with the capability of re-charging your ipod in the field.....

PLUS it works with every mapping software pack that I have found for the IPOD Touch..... I love the interface with the "MyTopo", and since this allows me to download ANY/ALL of the Topos in my area or any other North American Area, I am set for life with my caching needs!

no I am not on their payroll, nor am I connected to Dual....... I like the product and want others to enjoy the experience of caching with an ipod.
