OpenCaching for Andriod

I was surprised to receive a push notification on my phone a few days ago indicating this app had an update available. So based on that, this app is now available again in the Play Store. I've let Mr.Yuck now.

And then I promptly forgot about it. I am most shocked to see Rayman post here though.

Actually, he was supposed to send me a link. I'll have to check all my 10 different email accounts. It had been removed from the Android Marketplace, or whatever you Android people call it, so it does NOT appear on the "Smartphone apps for OC page" on this site, currently.

Never mind, I found it myself. I'm off today, so I have time for crap like this. I will send the author a note, I don't see any reason it wouldn't work on Opencaching.nl, which recently changed from the .de model to our own .pl model. Here it is, restored to the market on Google Play

By the way, a SprarrowsGold virtual on our site featured in a screen shot, you have to love that one.

The developer never responded to me, sent the day I made that last post, August 12th. Oh well, it's back on Google Play, and it works on our site.

I'll have to see if it works any better with BIT caches. I seem to recall it didn't display them on the map or in the list of nearby caches, but if you went to someone's profile and looked at their hidden (or found) caches, they would be there and you could navigate to them.

I added a link for a new ios app today on our links page, and in doing so, I noticed opencaching for android is a dead link. The dev has taken it off the market again! Of course it still will work if you have it on your phone.

Thanks for your first post! How ya' doing? Hmm. I have no clue who the developer was. Apparently from this thread, I attempted to contact them in the past, and I probably got the email off of Google Play. Would someone who never took this off their phone be able to provide a .apk? Because I'll bet the thread OP still has it on their phone.

I have the following information from the app.

I have version 1.2.0 2013-08-08.

I'll be able to more easily search to see if it might have the .apk on the phone later, but I doubt I do.
