OPENCACHING NORTH AMERICA

If you're attending Geowoodstock, be sure to come to the Geocachers Unlimited Meetup @ The Mega - OU0639. This is just an opportunity for those of us active on the various "alternative" caching sites to meet and chat for a bit.

Coords will bring you to the "old cow camp" where various orgs will have their banners hung up.

How did it go? Any new interest in this site?

Well, we had a small gathering at noon, but hat was with folks already active on the us and TC.

KASCAN published new virtuals in the area - four at Circle B Bar, where GW was and one not far away. She's a newly registered user in the Lakeland area. Unfortunately, she couldn't make the noon meet-up, but I was able to do all of her virts and have exchanged some e-mails. Unfortunately, I'm the only one who grabbed them during the event. One person, havocgeo, logged on the virts yesterday, though. Part of the problem was probably that they were published so soon before the event that I think some of the folks who would have didn't have the info. If I'd thought about it, I would have printed the pages to hand out at the meetup.

Overall, on my trip, I found 7 OCNA caches on my trip an now have 210 finds.
