Geocaching Smorgasbord

Post by NativTxn » Wed Oct 30, 2013 2:46 pm

I got in from lunch today and there was a treasure trove of geocaching goodness on my desk. Many thanks to TommyGator for passing it along! It is a moving cache by TermiteHunter that also contains a BIT, a GeoKrety, a TravelBug and a TravelFlea from Mr. Yuck. It even contained a OCNA pathtag! Wow! I'm loving it!!! The sad fact is that almost NONE of the local cachers will do anything on OCNA and I get down about it. Days like this are what I live for. :D

I posted a picture on Instagram (with tracking codes covered, of course). http://instagram.com/p/gGe1SLgZ8z/

Actually, it once contained 10 Pathtags. Tommy Gator must have generously distributed the other 9 to Dayton/Cincinnati area cachers. Gotta love that. Are you posting to Twitter, we'd most definitely like to retweet with the official account.

Unfortunately, people do lose interest in us. I've had to remind several people who "were into it a little" in 2010 to look at us again, and not forget about downloading our caches and looking for them. Two people have taken me up on it somewhat, and I just reminded a married couple I found a couple caches with last weekend.

I posted about this...shared from Instagram, so I used hashtags for everything.

With Ohio on the way. And the whole original being returned and being mailed to Ohio thing. I did find NT's post to Twitter, and retweeted it with the official account, although a day late.

Forgot about Ohio

Yep, there are a few adventures of the infiltrator that only a select few are fully aware of.

Keep it moving
