What is this?

Out Geocaching yesterday and I came across this. It was at the base of a light pole. Anyone have any idea what it is?

Someone's Geocaching signature item? Was it under the skirt?

No, it was glued to the cement at the base of the light pole, outside the skirt. I cropped the picture so it wasn't so large. I don't think there was a geocache there. There was a Munzee.

What is the small dot near the "G" .. a GPS Sat?
Looks like it may be some sort of marker to identify a Geocache at this location but there is none, maybe there was one in the past.

I think that was a hole in the disc that was glued down. It was on a light post in the parking lot of Marley Station Mall (for any that are in the Central Maryland area). I found it during the trip I found sfcchaz's One Large Red Dot.
