OpenCaching US (Sew On) Patches

Post by DudleyGrunt » Thu Dec 30, 2010 9:19 am

I'm going to be ordering some 3" round OpenCaching US sew-on patches. Please take a look at the two mock ups below and answer the poll and let me know which border you would prefer to see produced.

For the couple of people who voted yesterday, I apologize, but we had a problem and the original post was lost.

I plan to order these patches by the end of the week. If it stays so close, I may see if there is any way to order 50 of each and still get the 100 quantity price.

I just talked to Luke from Patches4Less and I won't be able to order 50 & 50 and get the 100 pc pricing. It'll be one or the other. BTW, I like the yellow.

Well, when it boils down to it, since this is your brain child, you ultimately get the final say :p

I like both, my preference is the black boarder but I like both almost equally so it really doesn't matter which one we go with.

Yep black one is better.

Yellow trim takes your eye away from the logo.

Really like the one with the black border, that would be my preference.

I'll definitely be ordering by 6 PM EST on Friday. I can get a 5% discount or free iron-on backing.

I may have to make the final decision, but would folks be particularly interested in having the option iron them on? You could still sew them on.

And the winner is...

OK, so the opinion was evenly split. I'm going to go with the yellow. I liked it because it seems to make it brighter, adding to the openness symbolized by the sun.

Once I call the order in and get the final cost, I'll post the price breakdown, but I plan on $3.00 per patch with some sort of break for multiples.

(To close the poll, I had to set it to "run for 1 day", which makes it look like it closed on 31 December, but it was closed just before 1400 EST on 7 January.)
