OCUS on the Geocaching Podcast

Post by DudleyGrunt » Wed Aug 10, 2011 10:18 am

Come join me, XpunkX, DarrylW4, and HeadHardHat for the LIVE recording of the Geocaching Podcast, tonight @ 8:30 PM CDT. It'd be great to have more OCUS users in the chat room or calling in.

You can listen on your phone (and request to talk) and / or you can listen online and participate in the chat room.

How to Join.

If you weren't able to join us live, look for it to post sometime Thursday at Geocaching Podcast or their RSS feed.

Well, I missed it live, as I told DG that I would on Twitter. I figured subscribing to the RSS feed would allow instant access, but I guess I was wrong there. It seems like they never have them up the next day as you say, but I'll keep checking. I've often wondered why the delay posting the old shows, but no big deal, I suppose.

I think most of the time, Andy has them up sometime in the afternoon of the following day. They do some editing and such, before posting them, so it takes a bit of time.

It was a good show. Hopefully after it hits the RSS feed, we'll get some new blood in here. :) Great job, Dave & Jerry!

Hit the RSS feed about 1:00 PM EST the day after the show.

I posted it in another thread, and everyone might not have seen it, but we were already getting the new blood with the introduction of BITcaching, and hopefully it will continue with the great job on the podcast by DG and RV. You can see how many members there are, and even how many join a day, right here in the forums in a link in the upper-right hand corner. Of course we'd like them to become ACTIVE participants.

Yes, again, great job. You two guys hit a home run in my opinion. It was also great the DJCreekCachers suggested plugging Guestbook caches from the chat room. Favorite part for me of course is at about the 25 minute mark, Western New York got a plug as an Opencaching hotbed.
