Plans are coming together and sfcchaz and I will be hosting an event Sunday morning (8/31) at 6:30 to meet some of the early riser locals before we start our second day of caching the Charlotte area. We'll gather at the Krispy Kreme (yum!) on Independence Blvd in Matthews, NC.
"Dudley & Chaz Come to Charlotte" is listed on Groundspeak and will be listed on OpenCaching North America.
I submitted the GC event and Chaz will be submitting the OCNA event. I sent Chaz the details and he should be submitting the OCNA listing soon and I'll approve it as soon as I see it. Set your alarms now.
We're hoping one or two folks will be interested in joining us for the day (or part of it) to hunt (primarily) ONCA and TC cache, with maybe a few "must do" GC.com caches thrown in. Any recommendations? I did a few, including Don't Be Afraid of the Dark and Octopus Garden last time I was down.

Good luck, you two! Boy, 6:30-7:00 AM? Gonna be tough to get people to show up (although I would if it were in my town). Awful silent from the Charlotte OCNA community, although I know a lot of them never look here.DudleyGrunt wrote:Plans are coming together and sfcchaz and I will be hosting an event Sunday morning (8/31) at 6:30 to meet some of the early riser locals before we start our second day of caching the Charlotte area. Re: Dudley & Chaz Come to Charlotte (8/31)
I've posted to the GCGC forums, too. We've had a couple Will Attends on the GC.com listing. We wanted to get it out early before we got started caching for the day, hoping maybe someone would join us.
