Seperate map issues thread
OK, we started talking about the maps not showing some caches in the other thread. I was missing several caches from my local view. The only way I can force the map to show all the caches is by using these settings. I have to have poor to excellent selected, even though that should not matter at all once the "show without score" box is selected. Oh, P.S., I forgot to re-check the "show signs" box, but that shouldn't make a difference one way or the other.

Very interesting....
I typically go under the "Seek a cache" page and look that way. Everything shows.
In the "Map of caches" page, I get the same result as you.
It seems like the only thing that really needs to be changed is the drop down. Basically the default needs to be excellent.

Yeah, I typically go under seek a cache page too. I swear I never, since the day this site went online, tinkered with those boxes! It seems to save my current settings every time I look at the maps now.glorkar wrote:Very interesting....

And I do surf those maps, usually outside my area, just to see "how we're doing" as far as cache density. Congratulations, by the way, for getting some recent activity in Wisconsin!!

Hmm...
I never use the "Map of Caches" link, for some reason, and always use "Seek a Cache".
I just click the MoC link and, by default, had the following settings checked and could see the caches I'd expect to see.

Either there is a ghost in the machine or someone changed something
My default range was poor-average. After I changed it to excellent, it stayed there.

Re: Seperate map issues thread
Hey you-all. I'm new to this website and cannot see any caches in Kansas no matter what settings I am using. On my iPhone I see several but not any on the website.
I have gone into Seek and Map of Caches both with no results.
What could I have setup incorrectly?

Unfortunately, there don't appear to be any caches in Kansas.
What app are you using?
