I know the guidelines are included in the "Terms of Service", but not everyone knows that. I suggest that the direct link to the Cache Placement section be posted on the Main Page and/or the Hide a Cache page so that a new cacher on the site doesn't have to go searching for the info.
Just a suggestion...

Re: Cache Placement Guidelines
It is listed under "Getting Started" on the home page. You could put it in 19 different places and probably less than 1% would even read it.
When you click "Hide A Cache" it tells you this:
Before submitting your cache, please familiarize yourself with the informational articles contained in the Geocaching Wiki (see link above). These articles establish the rules and guidelines for hiding caches, selecting containers, etc. Once your cache has been hidden and submitted by you, it must be approved by the OC Team. Once approved, it will be available on this site. Remember that your geocache is your calling card, and others will evaluate it in the logs of your cache and via the rating system.

Re: Cache Placement Guidelines
I just meant instead of saying "See Link Above", I would insert the link there that directly goes to the Term of Service, not necessarily the main OC Wiki first page. I remember when I was brand new it taking me a little while poking around for it to click in my head that TOS meant Guidelines. Maybe that's just me.
