Yee-ha! I went to add another letterbox today and I see there's a type for it now. S-Weet!

Not only that, BIT caches and Guestbook caches show up as <type>Geocache|Unknown Cache</type> in a .gpx file. I simply downloaded some, and viewed them as text in Microsoft word. Nothing in our database suggests these should be called anything but what they are:NativTxn wrote:I noticed today that the GPX file says <type>Geocache|Unknown Cache</type> on Letterboxes. That might be the problem. It should probably say Geocache|Letterbox Hybrid so that it matches in GSAK.
Good luck!Mr.Yuck wrote:Wish me luck.
Bad luck, actually. But I didn't forget this one, and have hopes for it. No response in the Topografix forums, even though it's pretty much shown itself to be people asking questions, and the Topografix admin himself (and no one else) answering them. However, I've since learned that .gpx files are always generated from .xml web pages, and I've found the two .xml pages which I believe to generate all our .gpx files on the server. I actually went in and did some edits I was pretty confident were going to work, but nope, no dice. However, I haven't tried the gpsbabel forums, and I'm guessing I can get some help there. Don't wish me luck this time though, didn't work the first time!DudleyGrunt wrote:Good luck!Mr.Yuck wrote:Wish me luck.
