Waypoint ID

Post by NativTxn » Thu Mar 01, 2012 10:22 am

On this site, the Waypoint ID is not prominently shown on the cache page. Could it maybe be moved up near the Cache Name and made a little bigger or something? Also, could it maybe be added to the browsers' tab when viewing the listing? IE...instead of saying "Bonfire Memorial - Cache Listing - Opencaching.US....." It would show "OU01D5-Bonfire Memorial - Opencaching.US..." It would be helpful when doing things in multiple tabs in your browser like dipping/dropping GeoKrety. It would be easy to have the cache page open with the OU number on it and see that number while you are on the GeoKrety.org page trying to log your trackables on that Cache ID.

Another idea would be to use the OU code instead of a number for the cache page URL. http://www.opencaching.us/viewcache.php?cacheid=OU01D5 instead of http://www.opencaching.us/viewcache.php?cacheid=469.

These are just some ideas floating around in my head and I hope I made them clear enough. I haven't had my coffee yet.

Thanks. Good ideas. I imagine the first shouldn't be too hard.

George, what do you think?

I see that you added the cache ID number next to the name. That helps.
