Promoting the History Forum and history caching

I'd like to invite some other folks interested in history-caching to this forum and of course using Open Caching for
history caching.
I took the urls from the forum and one of my caches and created tinyurl's to use as link to my website. Question is, will they work for the first
time visitor rather than just signed in users. Can some test this.?

You do not need to be logged in to view cache pages or the forums.

Re: Promoting the History Forum and history caching
I am experimenting with some new techniques.
One is a small laminated card with a historic picture that states. I WAS HERE AT
President Harding's Oceanfront Lot. This can have a hole where a TB can be attached.

Re: Promoting the History Forum and history caching
I want to promote historycaching at the wikipedia page on geocaching. But I need a cite. Would you ask the management here to
list historycache as a variation of geocaching somewhere on the OpenCaching landing page? Maybe a "Home of the History
Cache initiative or something.
Once this is done, I will add the entry to Wikipedia which will move our objective of getting historycaching recognized universally.
Here is the entry I'm working on to go into the Wikipedia page. But without a cite, I know that one of the wiki-editors would remove it rather quickly.

I'll need to talk to Coffee Peddlers. Do you have a concise description, somewhere?

Re: Promoting the History Forum and history caching
This is what I was going to publish in wikipedia
''Historycache''': An Opencache or Geocache that is themed around a historical topic. The cache may be located at a historically significant point of interest and
contain laminated historical pictures. It usually teaches the visitor a history lesson about the area.

What did Coffee Peddler say? This is a good opportunity for Open Caching to promote themselves by listing historycache as a type of cache.
I was checking in today to see if it was set and then I could add it to the Wikipedia.

Sorry, I've had a busy week or so, but have sent CP a note.
