The largest network I know of is the Stargate caches. The wormhole group only has a couple locations.

These are caches in which you drop off tb s that are then transported by the cos (by mail or travel) to other caches in distant locations, even internationally.

There is a wormhole cache in Charlotte and its corresponding wormhole near Rochester.

Any strange spellings or choices of words are the fault of autocorrect

I'm going to wait a while before sending Infiltrator north to give the locals a chance to give it a shot. If any of those near the GC southbound wormhole want to send one this way to Charlotte it might actually create a bit (pun intended) of a buzz in the area to have a NY OCus cache in NC. http://coord.info/GC3PF88

We actually don't have very much activity in the Rochester area. But we would just have to send Sabrefan7 over to retrieve it, as he's at least in the same area code.

These are like the mole holes I've seen on geokrety.org. They sound interesting. I've always found tbs and geokrety and other trackables an interesting and fun part of geocaching.

I noticed but there are a handful and it is not too far from a little hotbed of activity. At least it will get it close and being a little different with the moving aspect should help prompt some action. I could e-mail a few of the nearby CO's to let them know when it is on the way.

The Infiltrator (moving cache, Geokretey, BIT and TB) will be arriving soon to someplace around Rochester NY via the NC Wormhole cache.
It should appear in a GC cache in the area. The TB's in the Wormhole are picked up weekly so it shouldn't be too long. I dropped it off today.
Pick it up and send it around the area. I hope to see more movement than it experienced here in NC.
I will attempt to keep up with the coordinates on the cache page once it arrives. Watch for both the Infiltrator and the travel bug to appear for early notification since I expect only the TB will be logged in when it arrives.

ITS 5 exits and 59 Thruway miles from my location to the wormhole cache. Neat idea I will put them on my watch list but it will be tough to get to with my schedule lately

Well after sitting at the wormhole entrance for over a month it is on the way. Apparently issues on this end. It was picked up this weekend.
Hasn't appeared on the other end in NY yet, but keep an eye out. From looking at past TB's that have gone through, they appear in various caches nearby the wormhole (not the WH cache itself). I usually update the cache page for the Infiltrator moving cache to reflect actual coordinates. The BIT coordinates will be moved to an approximate city center nearby (but it is of course actually with the moving cache container)

Once it shows up please get the word out to any and all locals participating in OCus. Might be an opportunity to bring in a few new members too.
I plan to send a message to the CO if it is placed in a GC cache to see if I can prompt some action to start. I'll see if I can locate any OCus member(s) closer to it's location as well.

Oh, not necessarily big users of this site, but I know several lets just say "high number" Geocachers from the Buffalo/Niagara Falls who cache in Rochester 90 miles away several times a year, and I'm sure I can convince one of them to pick it up. Just keep us updated here, or contact me through the website. I am also checking the little "notify me when a reply is posted" box.
