New BIT Design

Post by NativTxn » Tue May 22, 2012 2:43 pm

I was playing around with the QR Code and made some BITs that I printed on Weatherproof labels from Avery (the 2x4" labels). I reprinted the one for my car and I've got 3 more printed and ready to deploy (I put DRAFT in cache description so Reviewers will know they are not ready to be published). When I find a good spot, I'll updated the coordinates and descriptions. I figured most cachers like to find ammo cans. :D

What kind of printer are you using? Just wondering if the ink is waterproof.

It's a color HP laser jet on the Avery weatherproof labels. I've used it on some Munzees that are out in the open and they are doing fine. I put a Munzee at the front edge of my newspaper holder by my mailbox out at the road. It's been through rain and sun and still looking good.
